Oras na para Magpiknik sa «Luneta» ng Suiza!
Sa ikalawang pagkakataon, magkakaroon ng picnic ang Kuwentuhang Sabado sa «Luneta ng Suiza», ang rebulto ni Jose Rizal na matatagpuan sa Wassen, Uri sa Sabado, ika-15 ng Agosto, 2020, alas 12 ng hapon.
Naipasinaya noong Agosto, 2014, ang rebulto ni Rizal ay matatagpuan ilang metro lang ang kalayuan sa lumang istasyon ng tren ng Wassen. Kasama ito sa Gotthard Trail at may lugar para magpiknik para sa mag pamilyang may mga bata.
Para sa pagpupulong ng KS, magiihaw tayo at kasamang magtatanghalian malapit kay Rizal. Pagkatapos ng tanghalian ay magkakaroon ng maikling kuwentuhan tungkol kay Rizal at may Palaro ng Lahi sa mga bata depende sa panahon. Magkakaroon din ng merienda bago mag-uwian.
Para sa mga pamilyang nais sumali, magdala ng inyong sariling iihawin (karne, gulay, atbp) at salad o panghimagas na nais ninyong ibahagi ibahagi sa iba. Maglilibre ang KS ng chichirya at inumin, Pakiemail lamang kami sa kuwentuhangsabado(at)gmail.com para malaman namin kung ilan ang makakadalo.

Time for a Picnic at the Luneta of Switzerland!
For the second year running, Kuwentuhang Sabado will be hosting a whole day trip to Switzerland’s «Luneta» which has the bust of José Rizal in Wassen, Uri.
Inaugurated in August of 2014, the Rizal Bust is located just a few meters from the train station in Wassen. Part of the Gotthard Trail, the bust is situated near a picnic area suitable for families with children.
For our final KS session this year, we will be having a grill party over lunch near the Rizal Monument. After lunch, we hope to have good weather for “Laro ng Lahi” or traditional Filipino games and some story telling about our national hero José Rizal. With enough KS activities, we plan to close our session with the usual Merienda, so we can all head back home on full stomaches.
For families who would like to hike around the area, we propose an early start, leaving Göschenen in the morning to walk down to Wassen (4,4 km) (1h 40min) before the grill party. – NOT INCLUDED IN THE TRANSLATION
