We are a group of young Filipina mothers who are living across different regions of Switzerland. Hoping to create a community for other Swiss-Filipino families who share our passion for Filipino culture in Filipino books and crafts and activities, we have put together a storytelling-playgroup welcoming families with children up to 10 years old to our monthly Kuwentuhang Sabado sessions.
Since our small beginnings in 2016, we have since been organising more regular KS sessions for families in various regions in Switzerland. After 2 years of our “traveling” playgroup, alternating KS Sessions between Basel, Luzern, Bern and Zurich, we now have a growing community in Zürich that continues to meet regularly each month.
Since 2018 we continued holding morning KS Sessions in Zürich on the first Saturday each month, but no longer held scheduled KS sessions in other cities. However, after a fun “Pop-up KS” session in February 2018 in Zermatt, we hope to continue organising more Pop-up sessions throughout the country to accommodate interested families elsewhere.
